1. Service Agreement

By engaging Leak and Seek for leak detection services, you agree to these terms and conditions. Our services include water leak detection, gas leak detection, emergency leak response, and related diagnostic services.

All services are provided by qualified and insured technicians using professional equipment and industry-standard procedures.

2. Scope of Services

Our leak detection services include:

• Electronic leak detection and location
• Thermal imaging and acoustic detection
• Non-invasive leak detection methods
• Emergency leak response services
• Detailed reporting and recommendations

We locate leaks but do not perform repairs unless specifically contracted to do so.

3. Pricing and Payment

Service rates are provided upon enquiry and may vary based on location, urgency, and complexity. Emergency callout fees may apply for after-hours services.

Payment is due upon completion of service unless alternative arrangements are made in advance. We accept cash, cheque, and electronic transfer.

Additional charges may apply for services outside our standard coverage area.

4. Limitations and Liability

Our leak detection services are provided to the best of our ability using professional equipment and methods. However, we cannot guarantee the location of all leaks, particularly in complex building structures.

Leak and Seek carries public liability insurance but is not liable for consequential damages arising from undetected leaks or delays in service provision.

Customer is responsible for ensuring safe access to inspection areas and disclosing any known hazards.

5. Emergency Services

Emergency services are available 24/7 for urgent situations. Emergency callout fees apply outside normal business hours.

In gas leak emergencies, customer must ensure area safety and contact emergency services if required before our arrival.

Emergency response times are estimated and may vary due to location, weather, or traffic conditions.

6. Property Access and Damage

Customer grants access to all relevant areas for leak detection services. We use non-invasive methods wherever possible.

Any minor access holes or inspection points required will be discussed with the customer before proceeding.

We take care to minimize property disturbance and will restore access points where practical.

7. Privacy and Confidentiality

Customer information is kept confidential and used only for service provision and business communication.

Photos or videos taken during service are for documentation purposes and may be used for training or marketing with customer consent.

We comply with Australian Privacy Principles in handling personal information.

8. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Standard appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled with 2 hours notice during business hours.

Emergency callout fees may apply if emergency services are cancelled after technician dispatch.

Weather or safety conditions may require service postponement at our discretion.

9. Warranty and Follow-up

We stand behind our leak detection findings. If a reported leak location proves incorrect due to our error, we will return to re-investigate at no additional charge.

Follow-up inspections are available if initial findings require verification.

Warranty does not cover new leaks that develop after our inspection.

10. General Terms

These terms are governed by Victorian law. Any disputes will be resolved through mediation or Victorian courts.

Terms may be updated from time to time. Current terms apply to each service engagement.

If any term is found invalid, remaining terms continue in effect.
